It is a cold rainy day in Lahore, Pakistan. We are three friends living in a room, enjoying, studying, and preparing for our personal and professional goals. But today’s morning when we got up, the two of us were not feeling well. I was feeling better compared to them.

Luckily, I have kindness set as one of the core values of my life and today God gave me yet another opportunity to serve humanity through it. It always makes me feel satisfied and peaceful. I have done today some random and small acts of kindness. Let’s have a look!

Getting a Vicks Vaporub for my Friend

Vicks I purchased from a nearby Pharmacy

My friend did force me to bring it for him. I just understood that he was in the need. Although I was wearing slippery shoes and slipped two times because it was all slippery because of the rain. But I still managed to got him Vicks and he was surprised and happy. Wow! even writing it down gives me content.

Getting Hot Boiled Eggs

I managed to get them these eggs upon their request but it is generally considered a good thing in curing small headaches and fever etc. The interesting thing was we played a local game using the boiled eggs. It was joyous!

Making Tea

I have been experienced in making tea because I love to make it. I made tea along with arranging some biscuits for them. We enjoyed talking while taking tea. technically it was not tea but Qahwa which is the traditional tea of our culture.

Qahwa in Cups. Although its color is green but as I took the picture half an hour later. It became red.

Sweeping and Cleaning the room

The last thing I did was clean and sweep the room. I managed to arrange all the things in the room and made it beautiful and worth-enjoying.

The fact is kindness plays a powerful role not in our personal and professional life but it is responsible for lifting up the societies. You are wise only if you live your life only through both compassion and intellect. As Nelson Mandela said;

We are all bound together in ways that are invisible to the eye that there is oneness to humanity and we achieve ourselves by sharing ourselves with others and caring for those around us.
